Stand up and Declare

Stand up and Declare

"Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man – and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things…who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator who is blessed forever. Amen."

While in America a good many people celebrate ‘Thanksgiving Day’, every year, there’s a blatant voice from the American Atheist Association accusing people of not really believing in God. A large placard of the nativity scene has been erected on the Jersey Tunnel, declaring that God is a myth, Christ and the Incarnation is a myth, just as Father Christmas is mythical and that the people of America should be honest and admit this.

Although man’s heart is sinful and he has a fallen nature, many of God’s qualities are still reflected in human beings because they’re made in the image of God. God said that what He had made was very good. As we receive Christ into our lives we can experience the beautiful Holy Spirit with the love and power of God. The prophets in the Old Testament and the Apostles in the New Testament, together with the saints down through the ages have spoken and moved by His glorious power and have given the God of Heaven the worship and glory due His Name.

A myth cannot produce this love, power and beauty or restore a human heart and give new life to a soul and spirit. Let us, who’ve been changed by God, stand up and declare it to those around us, above the voices of those still in darkness, who want us to believe a lie and deny the glorious truth.

All Heaven declares the Glory of the risen Lord.
Who can compare with the beauty of the Lord.
Forever He will be the Lamb upon the throne.
I gladly bow the knee and worship Him alone. Noel & Tricia Richards

PrayerDear Lord, We give You all the praise, thanksgiving and glory, for all that You are, and have done for us. Help us to declare Your truth wherever we face the deception of the enemy, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
