My pregnant sis

I think I've forgotten to write up about my pregnant sis..tsk tsk...not very nice of me!

She's 7 months pregnant and will be due in November...we know that she's having a girl (well, the doc said 75% of his guess will be girl...so we still have to wait and see) and that's exciting for her as she wanted a little girl and Eric's parents will be ecstatic if they have a girl as they had 2 sons, so having a grand-daughter would just be lovely!

We're still kept in the dark about name for the bub though which is understandable...you still want to keep some suspense for everyone ^_^

can you see her bump? This was taken a month ago, so she's popped out even more now...ehehe

So I'm finally an Aunty!! huaaaa...it's happening now....old woman!! hahahaa....At church, whenever kids call me Aunty, I said, "Don't call me Aunty laaaa" now, I can't get away! Never mind, it's bound to happened sooner or later :)

Red-Blood moon

Yesterday, Wed 28th August 2007 we saw it! Red moon.....we waited until it was 7.45 pm before going outside our unit and walked a little while to find a darker place so we could see the moon better....and with our amateur technics, we managed to take few shots of the moon...You might need a magnifying glasses to see it...:)

Before it turned fully red

Are you seeing double??

Finally it turned all red and we thought this was a pretty good shot!

For all who missed it, they said it'll happen again in 2011 if we are all still here...:)

Trust Him

Trust Him

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make straight your paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV).

Do you need God's direction in your life? Often times, the Lord will instruct your heart to do something that's just the opposite of what your natural mind thinks you should do. It doesn't make sense, but God's principals are very different from the world's principals. In the natural, it doesn't make sense that if you are in need, you should give to someone-you should sow a seed. But you can trust God's Word that says “what you sow, you shall reap.” You can trust that God's system is set up for your good. His system is set up to prosper you and not harm you. He wants to give you a future and a hope. As you step out and trust God and obey His word-even when you don't understand-He promises to direct your paths. He promises that your path will shine brighter and brighter every single day!

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

A Prayer for Today

Thank You, God, for directing my path today. Thank You for opening my heart to trust You today. Keep me close to You and teach me to hear Your voice so that I may please You all the days of my life. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

One of the kitchen hand...hehehe.....poor Eric! He had to help prepare his own bday lunch.....ssshhh....that's coz he wanted the biggest meat! hahaha ^_^

We all enjoyed our lovely lunch...Thank you, Jim for making a delicious lunch that would cost $30 pp in a restaurant :))

You like the blue cake??? hihi....that was a very yummy ice-cream cake (chocolate and hazelnuts)...these are the 5 people whose bdays we celebrated

Very full and satisfied. Thank you Lord for adding one more year for all this children of Yours. Bless them, Lord, that they'll be blessings to other people and live a full life for You!

Reach camp 2007

On 17-19th of Aug 2007, we went to our church camp. Such a nice place down in the Northern Beaches (Collaroy).

We were there not as participants, but to run the Kids Program. A real challenge for me as I have never really organise a whole camp sessions for kids..not as easy as I thought.

Overall I think the program went well by God's grace and the kids looked like they've enjoyed themselves. The them was The Armour of God (Eph 6:10-17). I really thank God that He provided me with the inspiration and used Pastor David Goodwin to write curriculum on this subject few years ago!
When He calls, He'll provide!:)

Here are some snapshots....

The Teddy Bears dressed in Armour of God , creative childrens' creations!

Jimmy was dressed in Armour of God...the kids were working together and laughing in between thinking what else he needed...

Great time outside....we have skittle race...tag games...and some quality times together:)

We had some free time at the beach...such a beautiful sight (the beach I mean!)
